Darling
Fiona is a three year-old Irish Draught Sport Horse (RID x TB) out of
champion Irish Draught and Thoroughbred bloodlines (see
"The Horses" page for more info). A stunning bay with no
white markings, Fiona is smart, brave and a quick learner. At three years
of age, she is 16 hands and keeps growing. She should mature to at least
16.2 hh but will retain the refinement of her thoroughbred dam.
Fiona will make a superb three-day event horse but will also excel at jumping and dressage. Her training under saddle with Steven Duchac of Lynn’D Farms of Ocala begins in August 2008. She already has been backed, trailers quietly, clips, loads, ties, and knows advanced leading and groundwork exercises. She will attend dressage shows with Martha until she is sold.
